Webster Industries & Action Vibratory

Based in Tiffin, OH, Webster Industries (“Webster”) is a leading provider of conveyor chain, sprockets, vibratory conveyors, and specialty castings. Carleton McKenna was engaged by Webster to identify and solicit potential acquisition targets based on specifications set by the Company, including product line expansion, end market expansion, and workplace culture.

After an extensive search process, Webster acquired Newburg, Oregon based Action Vibratory Equipment, a leading designer and manufacturer of vibratory conveyor equipment. This synergistic acquisition expanded Webster’s offerings allowing for the company to divert vibratory conveyor production to Action operations — freeing capacity at the Tiffin facility for other offerings. With newly implemented growth strategies stemming from the acquisition, Webster is expected to increase sales and value2x previous levels.
